Cluster Symposium

Date of event : 5th March 2015

The theme of the Cluster Symposium being the “Exploration of New Frontiers”.

This annual symposium serves as a platform for participants to reflect and share their learning with their peers. At the same time, it opens opportunities for students to learn from HCI students who will also be present to share their award‐winning research projects. This is a great opportunity for cluster students to get inspired in the areas of research and development in science.

In 2014, Jurong Secondary School and Zhenghua Secondary School participated in the annual in‐house HCI’s Projects Competition. Mrs. Sow‐Peh Yoke Keow, Principal Consultant for Research from HCI, personally conducted a research foundation workshop for the students during the June holidays. The group was judged by the panel at HCI and was awarded a distinction for their project.

The audience participating in the symposium will consist of students from four cluster schools (approximately 40 students from each school). Among the audience are students who had attended the HCI sabbatical the previous year. Students who will be participating in this year’s HCI sabbatical will also be present. The sharing from their seniors will give them an idea of what they can expect to experience in the coming term.

Cluster Science Enrichment Day

About the Programme

Date of Event: 18 March 2014

The Cluster Science Enrichment Day comprises of 4 different science programmes hosted by 4 different schools. They are
