2 Maths Symposium

To help students to understand the use of mathematics in real world context

The participating schools have the autonomy on choice of project tasks. Each school will identify a team of 4 students for a 20 minute presentation and 16 students as audience for the Symposium.

4. Project Ace Competition

To have a competition among the Sec 2NA and 2NT students in Cluster schools.

The competition will constitute games stimulated questions planned in collaboration with Ace Learning.

Write-up about Programme:
|
Jurong Secondary School shared with the Cluster Teachers on the TI-Nspire software for teaching. A workshop with hands-on activities was conducted to the use of the software to design lessons for Modulus Functions and Equations of Circles. The lesson ideas shared could also be modified for use with other software.
