National Education

In alignment with Character and Citizenship Education, the Cluster West 6 National Education Committee, consisting of 6 schools, aims to provide support in the planning and execution of NE programmes and drive efforts integrating NE into Citizenship education in the respective schools : 

 

  •   To streamline NE programmes and activities to support the needs of the different schools.
  •   Focus on both students and teacher development in NE for Citizenship education.
  •   Collaborate with cluster schools for better efficiency and mileage of the programs in terms of resources and funds.

“Honour Our Heritage” Total Defence Trail

Objectives :

  1.  To recognize the importance of Total Defence in Singapore.
  2.  To create awareness of Singapore’s Total Defence efforts in a fun and experiential way.
  3.  To internalise students’ understanding of Total Defence and how they can contribute to Total Defence in their daily lives.
  4.  To provide opportunities for the cluster NE Ambassadors to apply skills learnt from the recent cluster camp to facilitate and host an event together for their peers.
